Pastoral Staff

Jon Adkins has been the Lead Pastor of Family Tabernacle Church of God since August of 2015.  He is a Licensed Ordained Bishop, credentialed with the Church of God International, headquartered in Cleveland, TN.

Pastor Jon has served in ministry for nearly 20 years in various roles such as Youth Pastor & Associate Pastor. In addition to pastoring, Pastor Jon also works full-time in the social services industry and sits on various community and state boards such as The Vital Initiative, SBDM committee, Family Resource Centers, Headstart,  Community and Restorative Justice, etc. Pastor Jon is the proud father of Elijah, Sophia, and Stella.  Pastor Jon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ministry Leadership from Lee University.

Amy Adkins is the First Lady of Family Tabernacle Church of God.  She has a sincere passion to work with women and young girls for them to see their true potential through Jesus Christ.

In addition to being the First Lady, she is a nationally certified Sign-Language Interpreter, school teacher, President of  Piner Elementary PTA, and most importantly a mom to her three children, Elijah, Sophia, and Stella.  The First Lady holds a bachelor's degree in Communications and a Master's degree in Education.
