Pastoral Staff

Jon Adkins has been faithfully serving Family Tabernacle Church of God since August of 2015 as Lead Pastor.  He is a Licensed Ordained Bishop, credentialed with the Church of God International, headquartered in Cleveland, TN.

Pastor Jon has served in ministry for over 20 years in various ministerial capacities.  In addition to pastoring, he also works full-time in the social services industry and sits on various community and state boards. Pastor Jon's favorite title is "father" to Elijah, Sophia, and Stella.  

Pastor Jon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ministry Leadership from Lee University and nearly a Master's Degree from Northern Kentucky University with an emphasis n Public Administration.

Amy Nitschke-Adkins is the First Lady of Family Tabernacle Church of God.  She has a sincere passion to work with women and young girls for them to see their true potential through Jesus Christ.

In addition to being the First Lady, she is a nationally certified Sign-Language Interpreter, College Instructor, and most importantly a mom to her three children, Elijah, Sophia, and Stella.  The First Lady holds a bachelor's degree in Communications from Eastern Kentucky University and a Master's degree in Education from the University of the Cumberlands.
